Disability Parking Permits Worldwide

Disability parking permit rules can be confusing from state to state. Imagine trying to get a worldwide handle on this?
The FIA Foundation did exactly that. They have compiled “The FIA Guide for the disabled traveler- Using Parking Permits, Cards and Placards around the world.”
This is an essential tool to inform travelers with a disability on using their disability parking permit/placard in their own country, and abroad. The USA section has state-by-state details.
It’s a pretty cool guide that details permit usage in each state and 131 countries, and also covers reciprocity details on use of out of state or even out of country permits.
The FIA Foundation is an independent UK registered charity which manages and supports an international program of activities promoting road safety, environmental protection and sustainable mobility, as well as funding specialist motor sport safety research.
Definitely worth a look if you anticipate touring around and flashing your placard here and there around the USA or outside of it.
