New Power Add On Trike For Manual Wheelchairs

One of the surprise finds at the recent Independence Expo in NY was the No Limits Trike. The device wasn’t showing at the Expo, it was under one of the attendees, and man did it draw attention.
The No Limits Trike is an add on to a manual wheelchair. It’s made on a one-off basis by a small company based in New York State. The person in the picture is Jim Seery, the brainchild and designer. He has used his trike on dozens of trips all over the world and on uneven and challenging terrain everywhere.
The Power system is a complete add on power drive that includes a 12″ front wheel and a motor and 24 volt battery pack. It’s all mounted on a front fork with handlebars, left side brake lever, and right side variable speed twist throttle. It can be attached to virtually any manual wheelchair (standard folding or sports chair).
The No Limits Trike tops out at 12 mph. It’s designed to make the hump over rough terrain and turn a manual wheelchair into an off-roader.
The Power Trike will go where few manual wheelchairs have gone before, over gravel, across grass fields and cruise down off road paths and will fit in most elevators. Jim has taken his unit to places and varied terrain all over the world with no problems.
The power trike breaks down to fit in over head compartment on airplanes or in the trunk of any car so it can be taken along almost anywhere. The drive unit can be installed while sitting in the wheelchair with out any tools. Weights is around 19 lbs without the battery pack and Installation takes only minutes.
A fully charge battery pack can last up to 10 miles plus.
If you’re interested in the No Limits Trike you can contact Jim Seery. Jim will be happy to discuss the Trike, pricing, options, or answer any questions.
