Tobii S32 Alternative and Augmentative Communication DeviceTobii has introduced the Tobii S32, a new augmentative and alternative communication device that plays pre-recorded messages that can be activated by scan or touch.

The Tobii S32 Touch is targeted specifically towards individuals who have the use of their hands. The Tobii S32 Scan is a switch/scan model, made for individuals who have difficulty using their hands and require the use of switches to make their choice in the grids or scenes.

The system contains a 2 GB SD memory card that holds over 60 hours of high quality sound and is powered by two AA batteries that depending on use can last several months. Here are some of the manufacturer’s claims:
