Excelente. soy paraplegico en Costa Rica pero las sillas de ruedas son muy caras. Ojala estas opciones no sean de precios altos.
I certainly hope wheelchairs don’t look like this in the future! They seem very uncomfortable!
The basic problem with wheelchairs is right there in the name — The fact that they are ‘chairs’. The human body was not designed for sitting, and doesn’t function well in that position. Originally wheelchairs were designed as adult baby carriages, forte convenience of the (able-bodied) person propelling them. Only now are we getting away from this paradigm. But even for new generation standup chairs, sitting is the default position. I hope I live long enough to experience an exoskeleton non-wheelchair with little servo motors at the joints.
