Rugged Trailer For Mobility Scooters And Power Wheelchairs

Here’s a neat way to transport your mobility scooter or powered wheelchair.

ScootaTrailer isn’t the first ever trailer designed for towing your ride around behind you, but it does look like the designers have given it a great deal of thought and some features worth taking a look at.

ScootaTrailer requires a Class One trailer hitch. The weight on the hitch when your mobility scooter or power wheelchair is onboard is 35 to 75 pounds. Skinny enough for that little gas saver your tooling around in.

The payload is 600 pounds and you cruise around on 4.8″ x 12″ high speed tires with soft ride axle suspension. Hey, why am I writing this? Just watch the video.

Wonderful~at last. For years, I’ve wondered how people could afford the accessible vans — and drooled on wheels. Thanks for this info.
