NCIL is gathering this information to address pending federal voter reform legislation that affects persons with disabilities. Specifically, the Voter Confidence and Increased Accessibility Act of 2007 (HR 811) would require that voting technology produce an auditable trail and be accessible and private for disabled voters. The results of this survey will assist NCIL in addressing certain provision of this bill. For more information on NICL, please go to www.ncil.org. For more information on HR 811, please contact John Herrion, Counsel, United Spinal Association at 718-803-3782, ext. 311, or at jherrion@unitedspinal.org.” |
