Sur Step – A New Innovation In Cane Technology

Here’s something you don’t see often. A new innovation in four prong canes, or quad-canes if you prefer.
Tru-Motion Dynamics has recently introduced the Sur-Step. Unlike a conventional four pronged cane that is bulky, heavy and awkward, the Sur-Step encourages correct balance posture rather than bending forward and reaching out. The curved base of the Sure-Step encourages natural walking patterns because of its angled and weighted base and becomes a natural extension of the arm.
Designed by engineers and physical therapists, the Sur-Step is lightweight, adjustable and easy to use. The cane features a base tread with industrial strength rubber designed for durability and traction. The arched base is made from lightweight high-grade aluminum and the heavy-duty shaft and handle is designed for right or left hand use. The modern looking cane, which looks like a putter, stands on its own for added convenience and safety.

My father uses this cane, it is awesome. He refused to use a quad-cane because it looks \old\ and he didn’t have enough support with a single point cane. It has increased his confidence when walking up and down stairs. Great Product!
It’s about time somebody applied technology to the ‘lo tech’ items people use everyday.
