The Pack Rat Wheelchair Backpack

The Pack Rat wheelchair backpack for those wheelers wanting to carry their worldly possessions along for the ride.

Images of Pack Rat wheelchair backpack alone and on the back of a manual push wheelchair. There’s no longer a need to hang sleazy looking plastic bags or wimpy sized carrying bags from your wheelchair push handles. The hoarder sized Pack Rat lets you bring a good part of your world along for the ride- but in style.

The Pack Rat is new form Wheelchair Gear and has many cool features such as large attaching straps with loops so you can securely attach the wheelchair backpack to your push handles or to wheelchairs that have no push handles. Two large zippered storage compartments that help bring large quantities of your stuff along for the ride.

Inside the Pack Rat you’ll find a large accommodating 12.5" x 12.5" pocket for storing even more of your must have items. If you like humping the road to your favorite tunes, the Pack Rat also has a pocket on the front for your iPod type device with an opening to pull your earphones through. There is also an outside front net compartment for your walkie or pushie friends to stow some of their stuff in.

The backpack is made from blue and gray water resistant 600D PVC coated material. It clocks in at a mean 12.5"Wx17"Hx6"D, giving you plenty of room for your traveling hoard. This is a pretty cool pack for those who need to load up when they go wheeling.

Some advice- As any urban wheelie can tell you, don’t place valuable items such as wallets, purse, stocks, bonds, and Picasso’s behind you in a wheelchair where you can’t keep an eye on them. It’s like wearing a sign that says "help yourself to my stuff". Also, don’t overload the bag or you may find your manual wheelchair tipping over backwards on uphill or up-ramp runs.
