It looks like Lasher Sport is serious about magnesium frames. Their two latest offerings are both sports wheelchairs and both come rigged with magnesium frames.
Lasher supports their choice of frame material with the following:
"Magnesium is the lightest structural metal on the planet! By volume, magnesium is roughly 35% lighter than aluminum and 62% lighter than titanium, yet has similar strength characteristics as 6061-T6 aluminum. Magnesium is also exceptional at dampening vibrations which gives a smoother ride."
