Wheelchair User Transfer Device For Pickups and SUVs

The Bruno Independent Living Aids Stow-Away, a new powered transfer seat that mounts on the outside of pickup trucks and taller SUVs.

  1. Brillant idea but I see one draw back (sorry, I always look for them) The unit needs to be fitted to vehicles with good clearance underneith such as very high 4×4’s, OK that works as most 4×4’s are naturally higher and therefore harder to get in/out of but here it comes.

After spending what i’m sure is a great deal of money on the device and even more on the 4×4 i’d be worried to hell of taking the thing off road or even over speed bumps as i’m sure one good wack underneith would damage the under belly lifting unit beyound repair.

Or am I wrong? be interested to know.
