Weaknesses:no shocks, broke down, 3 times in 3 years, had to go without, each time, for a month or more
Comments:Might be a little less of a problem if springs/shocks were added

Mike from Oklahoma City, OK submitted this review on October 26th 2005 at 04:58 PM. Mike is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Solid heavy duty chair. As well as seating system is a solid built unit. I have power tilt, recline and legrest and each is as well built as the powerbase is. All seating system was matched to chair by maker.
Weaknesses:One draw back on how solidly it's built is weight of chair itself with batteries.
Right after receving chair had poblem with when tilted pulled plug loose. Easy fix though, just let more slack loose from abudant amount of wire that is securely bunlded up and secured to seat frame.
Comments:Well built strong chair and running just as well now, over 4 years old, as when it was new.

Robert from Billerica,Massachusetts submitted this review on July 27th 2005 at 02:21 PM. Robert is an end user who has one to six months of experience with the product.
Strengths:WoW! Where to start! ? So many,so many,RIDE w/SUSPENSION , Strong Frame, RIDE w/SUSPENSION. Hate to say it's so 'great' but it is. Power.Speed,ZOOM-ZOOM To fast.To fast, don't have anywhere to use so much speed.
RECARO DS Seating system, my butt saver (thank you).
RIDE w/SUSPENSION the very first one.Tail lights.(that's all "you'll see" of me)
Now this is where the RIDE w/SUSPENSION helps across grass like ball park field, smooth, smooth and stable.
Tilt-In-Space with actuating elevating footboard.
Weaknesses:Aaa? Hmmm? Aaa? Hmmm? Aaa? Hmmm? Weaknesses: Wide, 29 inches, foot rest TOO BIG, 21"w x 17" they are making smaller one. I want more torque. DME needs to set programs better, keeps giving me speed. 12 MPH too much.Joystick mount needs better quad-link mount. Need smaller Headlight. Need rounded smooth front tires.
Comments:#-3, no Bounder is not rated third, this is my third Bounder, And I will order a fourth.
PT people liked it very much ZOOMING around hospital grounds. They were not afraid to run it full speed across grass onto sidewalk onto grass and down sidewalk with big cracks. Like a go-kart or fun-house ride. The SUSPENSION ! WoW! Get it if you can.
OH MAN, WHAT A CHAIR!
