Strengths:I love my "Little Red Machine" and find it very comfortable both outdoors and in department/grocery stores. It is excellent on vacations allowing me to go places that I would otherwise miss. It is true that it does not have a short turning radius and therefore difficult to use inside the average home. It is , after all, a scooter, not an electric wheelchair, but its other features more than make up for that. The seat swivels for easy exit, very nice convenience; having four wheels makes it very stable on all outdoor terrains; anyway, on those that a handicap person should be transversing; and the automatic wheel-locking mechanism makes loading by ramps very easy. For the money, this rugged little machine is at the top of the market in my opinion with a lot of features that will make life much easier for anyone who has difficulty walking or standing.
Weaknesses:I had pneumatic tires on my scooter to begin with and they were constantly going down from running over objects outside, but I changed to solid rubber tires and that stopped the problem. With a lot of use, the batteries only last around 12 months and are very expensive to replace, but I guess that is common on these units; both in battery life and cost of replacement.
Comments:My health dictates that I change soon to an electric wheelchair and I can tell you that this company's electric wheelchair will certainly be in the running for a replacement for my 4-wheel scooter.

Strengths:EXCELLENT OUTDOORS
Weaknesses:WONT WORK IN MY HOUSE, WONT TURN SHARP ENOUGH TO GET THROUGH MANY PARTS OF MY HOME
Comments:THE SALESMAN THAT CAME OUT TO DEMO THIS SCOOTER SAID IT WOULD DO JUST FINE IN MY HOUSE AND DIDNT EVEN TRY IT TO SEE IF IT REALLY WOULD AND I COMPLANED ABOUT THIS BUT THEY JUST WANTED ME TO GET A POWER CHAIR INSTEAD OF A SCOOTER I DONT WANT A CHAIR I WANT A SCOOTER THAT WILL WORK INSIDE MY HOME AND ALSO HANDLE THE ROUGHNESS OF THE OUTDOORS, I AM GOING THROUGH MY INSURANCE AND COMPLANING ABOUT THIS SITUATION TO SEE IF THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM, AND I ALSO FOUND OUT THAT THIS SCOOTER IS NOT MADE BY HOVEROUND IT IS MADE BY SHOPRIDER. I WANT A GOOD 3 WHEEL SCOOTER AND I WILL BE HAPPY. I TRIED A PRIDE SUNDANCER AND IT WORKS GREAT BOTH IN AND OUTSIDE OF MY HOME.
