Melissa is a care giver who has over a year of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | I like that he can be in it to stand. I like the clear tray. | | Weaknesses: | It takes two people to put him in this due to his poor body and head control. His extensions make it impossible for one person to put him in it. Also, from standing to sitting, we have to adjust the head rest and other supports. It just takes too long. By the time we are done adjusting it, he is ready to get out. | | Comments: | I sent this to school since there is his personal care aide and another person such as his OT, PT, classroom aide or teacher to help put him in it. Ann is a care giver who has less than a month of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | This product looks great and I liked the idea of the table and the way it would seem to be easy to have her stand. I got a free trial to try it. | | Weaknesses: | I think I was expecting more lifting assistance than I got from it and I thought it would be easier to use than it really is.
It was not as sturdy and balanced when my child had a tantrum and she almost flipped it over but I caught it. I decided against it because it was not sturdy enough for me and was not what I expected. It did look real nice but I found it was not easy enough for me to adjust and use, and in her tantrum she almost flipped it over. I did not purchase it after the free trial and got a Snug Seat item instead since it was more sturdy for me. | | Comments: | They may have changed the design since I trialed it so get a free trial first and see if it is more sturdy and easier to use because it is a great concept and looks great if it can be safe and user friendly.
