| terri from abilene tx usa submitted this review on September 6th 2008 at 12:29 AM. terri is a care giver who has over a year of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | none | | Weaknesses: | we got the first model of this stander and it was horrible my son screamed and cryed at the sight of it. It was very difficult to get him in and out of(he is non abulatory) we had to lift him manually (took two people)and it was impossible to use the lift (we have an overhead lift and a floor lift). Knobs for adjustment were really hard to loosen. It never seemed to fit him right and was really ricketty. he didn't have enough truck support and leaned really bad to the side nearly falling out. | | Comments: | they have changed the original design slightly but it wasn't enough. My son uses the newer model at school. The newer one is sturdier but still hard to use. We now have a Leckey Freestander at home and I love it. I am able to use it with both of my sons (one has very little head or truck control while the other has good head control and fair trunk control) works well for both. | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |

| Don from Macomb, MI, USA submitted this review on November 4th 2006 at 11:49 AM. Don is a care giver who has over a year of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | Easy to get into for child. Lots of adjustment possible in foot plates and knee supports. | | Weaknesses: | Heavy. Mobility option works but takes a lot of effort by user, not really useful for going more than a few feet. | | Comments: | Glad we got this device. Gets a lot of use. Child can get in and out without help. Child gets many hours of standing each week and we are grateful for that. | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |
