Strengths:Sturdy
Weaknesses:Feetstraps:
I really hate the velco feet straps. Something easier to strap the feet in position would make this a top notch piece of equipment.
Adjustment for bulged stomach would be great. As my husband has gained weight, the frame has become less adaptive to his fisique and really doesn't adjust his posture well.
Storeage:
It would be great if the support legs would cross fold for easier storeage. It currently take up about a 36" space which is not easy in a small home.
Comments:I have used the Ovation for about 3 years. I am caregiver for my husband who suffered a brain aneuroysm and survived. Complications caused massive stroke which left him quadraplegic and severly impaired. The ovation standing frame has been a godsent for his health and given him freedom from his wheelchair and hospital bed. Although there is no hope for mobility on his own, the Ovation keeps his muscles strong, his circulation good and assists with many body functions due to the simple exercise of just standing. We use the frame twice daily for an hour or so each session. It's easy to position him in the frame and requires little effort from the caregiver. It helps Bill's mental state to just be in an upright position...and it helps mine too. I'd recommend this to anyone going through the challenges of lost mobility and would welcome discussions if you are trying to make a decision on what equipment to purchase

Strengths:Durability, mobility.
Weaknesses:None
Comments:I use an EasyStand 5000 with the mobil option. It's an excellent standing frame. It's easy to transfer in & out of independantly. If you purchase one, I highly recommend the mobil option! It's easy to wheel around the house in. I've been in different frames and nothing compares to this frame. Highly recommened!!
