Cindy from Idaho submitted this review on August 29th 2009 at 07:06 PM. Cindy is a care giver who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:folds down into two sections and will fit in the trunk of a car. Can be lifted by one person into the back of an SUV.
Weaknesses:Brake system rubs on the tires and trips often while in use (very annoying!) As our son grew, and the wheelchair was adjusted for his height/weight, the chair lost a lot of it's structural integrity. He is now 50 lbs and we don't see this chair meeting his needs any longer. It is very hard to adjust it.
Comments:This may be a good chair for someone that still has some control of their trunk and head. Our son has no control and it does not keep him upright.

Ellen from Clarksville, TN submitted this review on March 25th 2007 at 09:57 AM. Ellen is a care giver who has one to six months of experience with the product.
Strengths:The chair appeared to be a great option due to it's light weight (compared to other wheelchairs in the categorory), and it's mobility. It does fold easy (in two pieces) and has nice padding on the seat.
Weaknesses:My child rides the chair on the school bus, and the steel frame has cracked four times. While the company has continued to replace the parts, the chair is not safe for the bus or vehicle tie downs. Note - we have the Jazz not the Max, but the base is basically the same.
Comments:I would recommend another chair - especially if you plan to use this chair for transportation!!!

Amy from Shelbyville, Kentucky submitted this review on February 20th 2006 at 12:07 AM. Amy is a care giver who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Able to lay flat, always balance (safe), very sturdy, easy to use, easy to take apart, comfortable (according to my 4 year old), doesn't look medical (looks more like a stroller so it blends well..very nice looking).
Weaknesses:Had problems with the brake system BUT it was fixed easily with the dealer...none that I can think of.
Comments:We LOVE this stroller/wheelchair. My daughter is very comfortable in it and we get alot of compliments when we are out. My daughter needs to lay flat alot of the time so this makes it easy to get out and about and keep her safe and comfortable. I would recommend this chair to to anyone.
