| Dave from Sacramento, CA submitted this review on February 16th 2009 at 09:57 PM. Dave is an end user who has less than a month of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | Feels stable. I put the 600F (4 wheels) at top speed in my drive way and tried to get it to tip up. It scared me at first, but mine did not tip up at all. I am not sure what the two reviewers did to turn theirs over, but I sure wish I knew. It has a good dash with all the options. My wife drove it and liked its stability. The ergonomics are good for me. It is not perfect, but it is good for me. So far! | | Weaknesses: | Coming down the neighbor's steep driveway, I let off the power and it tried to stop. Rear end just bounced awhile until it finally stopped about 20 feet later.
Paint seems to scratch easy. I have buffed it out, but for what it cost that is an irritant.
The built in charger is not an automatic charger. That is, you have to manually turn it off.
I found two wires hanging under mine, requiring a friend to come over and crawl "under it" to pull them up where they won't get hung up on something.
By the way, I am 225 pounds and the unit really bogged down climbing my neighbors steep drive. It did it, but the performance
was not what I was hoping for. If you read the owner's manual, it says it should climb a 14 degree incline when the total weight is something like 330 pounds. 211 for the scooter and the driver would obviously weigh around 110-120 pounds. At least they were honest enough to give details. | | Comments: | I like it overall. Perfect? Nope. Mine was essentially new when I bought it, the owner got it and never got to ride it due to health reasons. It had been ridden inside the home and once in the driveway. So I am pretty much the first "driver" for it. I like it. If it turned over with me, I would be concerned, but at top speed I was whipping the steering full left to full right and while it scared me at first, it did not turn over in our drive way. I believe the earlier posts, but wish they had mentioned what they were doing when it turned over. I would try to avoid doing that.
My score of four in "Was it what you expected" and "Overall" is because of the braking and bogging down on "hill". I am still happy to have it. | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |
