Colin from Melbourne, Australia submitted this review on September 23rd 2010 at 08:17 PM. Colin is an end user who has over ten years of experience with the product.
Strengths:Australian designed by George McPherson and Colin Johanson. This was a design we had in 1990 but improved upon in 1991. Sold the rights to Enabling Technologies in 1991, but were never paid royalties or credited with the design.

See http://gizbytes.com/snowski.htm
Weaknesses:Hydraulic pump raising system we found too slow and prone to sticking, so we developed a gas strut system that was very quick.

Alloy frame not as strong as our stailess frame. Will suffer from embritlement at welds.

Swing Bo skis are not stiff enough and need sprung keels. Longer racing Swing Bo skis are a great improvement. See http://gizbytes.com/sski-pics/Thumbnails.htm
Comments:It is a pity that American companies feel free to rip off overseas designers, NEVER give credit and don't stick to license agreements knowing too well that it is too expensive to take them to court. We tried to help them by selling them a ski for them to show for 1991 season but they just ignored usd after that.

Christopher from Toronto, Ontario, Canada submitted this review on January 22nd 2007 at 02:28 PM. Christopher is a care giver who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Light weight and very maneuverable.

Straps ensure skier is secure.

Easy loading and unloading.
Weaknesses:Bucket seat cracks easily.

Foot rest is non adjustable.
Comments:I have used the bi-unique for four years with my son. We bought our own rig two years ago. It is easy to train on and has enough strength and maneuverability to take you from the greens to the double blacks.
