Strengths:Out of the box this chairs craftsmanship is absolutely top notch. I was in touch with Brad Soden (designer/builder/his company) for 2 years before I bought it 7 months ago. He had hired a metal fabrication guy who is a perfectionist. The motors are sealed brushless 2hp each, 45lb beasts. The seat is very comfy and has a manual recline like a car seat. The harness is so useful, functional, and easy to use. The chair is very simple: R-net controller and joystick, 2 nice batteries, frame, and tracks. I am a very avid bow hunter and outdoorsman and have taken this chair through some serious terrain. Mud, sand, boulders (rough ride), water, ect.. all that you'd expect from a chair like this. But also in some hairy situations running over thick standing trees and big logs. I have also mounted a receiver hitch on the front and back. I have a lot of plans for this chair, one of which is mounting a small snow plow on the front which it can handle easy. I have some hunting adaptions also that I am working on that are ground breaking and will be very valuable to people who want to hunt. This chair is so easy to modify to whatever you like to do and Brad encourages that. He is a very down to earth legit guy.

When I was testing the chair when I first got it I parked it on a concrete tie (like a railroad tie) that was about 4 inches tall so that it would teeter easy. My uncle stood on the edge of the front foot plate and grabbed the top of the seat and rocked it forward. He was hanging way off it just to get it to tilt forward. At about 45 degrees it still wouldn't go and it hit the front foot plate. He then lifted it back and at about 70 degrees incline it started to tip back over. The center of gravity is amazingly safe.
Weaknesses:The tracks on the chair are TJD brand made for ATV's... they are a bit overkill. They have way to much tread. I have already cut off a half inch and it still needs more. I am going to cut them down to about a quarter inch. It will make turning easier in soft terrain situations because as of now, or out of the box, that is a weakness. Also it is really rough on concrete or even gravel. My batteries get me into the woods and where I need to go but I wish they lasted longer. The controls are a bit funny sometimes. At high settings when you let off the joystick it still moves a little. It is also not super responsive sometimes. (This can be adjusted by reprograming the controller I do know)
Comments:I am a C6, nearly complete
I like to customize everything I have, not not for flashy reasons, but because I'm an engineering student and it's fun. This chair has so much potential. I have no trunk control, hand function (i can lift my wrists but not curl them) and recently, because of the seat and harness, I have been holding with my hands and just 1 grasping cuff a .223 rifle and shooting at 100+ yards with accuracy. Yesterday I drove the front up on two pieces of firewood to recline a bit and shot sporting clays.. with my hands. Talk about getting back to the grind!

I have some seat adaptions in the works to make this the ultimate hunting chair so i don't need to drive up on logs or even turn the chair during deer season or bird season.

The adaptions I make I think I might patent but then give to Brad, if he wants, because Tankchair is a very giving company. They even have a non-profit you can go through and, depending on their current situation, possibly supplement you in buying one.
