Vickie is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | After all repairs were made on the new Jazzy I can say it is a heavy duty wheelchair. | | Weaknesses: | Was not usable when 1st delivered and the battery need to be recharged consently | | Comments: | When I first received my brand new Jazzy it didn’t drive right at all! The Jazzy kept going in circles. I had to fight with the merchant that I bought it from for a few weeks before I could get them to repair my wheelchair. It was not even the wheelchair that I ordered and they would not take it back. Six long months went by before I could leave my home because I didn't have my Jazzy. Then after it was finally fixed the battery was not working and the merchant wanted me to purchase a new battery. We fought about the warranty because they felt I should buy a new battery. They felt they shouldn’t have to restart the warranty start date even though the wheel chair wasn’t working right. As soon as I told them I was going to contact the TV station that is when they finally replaced the battery. However, they did not change the warranty start date on my Jazzy.
Even after I complained to Pride Inc. the Merchant ignored my wishes. Am I happy with the Jazzy? NO! I would love to get rid of the old memories. It was nothing but emotional stress for me. I do not deal with that Merchant and I make sure I tell others how they treated me!
note: ratings would of been better if the chair worked from the manufacture! It's like building a car, giving that car to the consumer! It's a Lemon! Auto companies would not be in business today would they? All of the other times were at my expense. That was only the first year. Since that time I have had countless things go wrong with the chair. Now after only 3 years I am having to replace my chair. Insurance will only replace them every 5years. Kathy is an end user who has less than a month of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | Many wonderful features: easy "free-wheel", back folds down completely, easy to take apart. | | Weaknesses: | The wheels are giving me a problem. When in an area that is not completely a hard surface, such as ground or soft carpeted areas, the big wheels "spin" and the front wheels dig into the ground. At times, I have had to have someone literally push the chair out of the area for me to be able get it going again. | | Comments: | I truly enjoy this chair. While it is rated far in excess of my weight, it is still much smaller than the last Jazzy I had, thus having easier mobility.
