|Strengths:||When unable to walk one really depend on the scooter and needs to be able to trust it.The one I bought from Pride is a huge disappointment. Was home alone last Christmas as husband was in hospital. Of course thats when the batteries and charger dies. Now this Christmas the scooter is 2 years old and got same proble again.Had looked forward to getting some Christmas shopping done.|
|Weaknesses:||Seat real hard to swing sideways in order to get in or out then it got stuck all together,Phonecalls to seller not returned. In the end returned it and was told I had not bought it there. Sorted that out quickly as I happened to have reciept with me.|
Never been able to go more than a few miles although this was bought as LONG range scooter. Huge fight to get new batteries as charger was faulty. Was told by Pride, but you can still use it. Ok maybe so but I like to get to the shops and also to get home again. Not having to bring charger and sit for 2 hours waiting for the LEMON to recharge.I been using scooters for just over 14 years so have an idea what to expect.Luckily I never got rid of my old one , a different brand ,which got better stamina.
After meeting the rude and unhelpful man calling himself salesmanager I have not been back to Endevour Industries where I previously bought other items.
No room to straighten out legs so have to sit with bent knees. Post polio here so always painfull legs after a short ride in scooter.
A frame is available for shoppingbag but this frame is fastened to the seat. However when getting out one swings the seat sideways and basket swings too. Impossible to reach bag from seated position. Would recommend a scooter where there is a basket sitting in the bodyframe in the back, One can then swing the seat around nd place items in basket without having to stand up. Can it be good to have a heavy full shoppingbag attached to the frame of the seat? One would think that will put extra strain on the " pole" holding seat.
|Comments:||I would never ever buy another PRIDE scooter.|
I regret spending my money on this Pride LEMON.I cannot trust this scooter. Been stuck in too many places already with it.
