Strengths:None
Weaknesses:New type of seat makes it high and difficult to transfer into from a wheelchair. When you stop suddenly it will not go again until you turn key off and then on and wait 5 seconds. Plastic breaks easily.
Comments:This is my third Pacesaver 3 wheelchair scooter in `15 years. The fist one I had was the best of the three. Sadly they have gone steadly downhill from there. I loved the first one, it did not have any plastic on the body and did not break down in 5 years, then problems till the 7th year caused me to get the next one. The second one did not break down either for a very long time but I hated the plastic body that ended up breaking around the front tire from hitting the wall, this one also had some new electronics on it that the first did not which caused some problems. The third one that I have had now for 3 years has so much problems with the "safety" items they have added to the electronics. It stalls when you stop suddenly, most of the time will not go in reverse when first turned on unless you go forward first. The brakes wore out really fast and I live in flat Florida, they wouldn't hold on a slight dip in the driveway. The seat is too high to transfer into. I will not buy a Pacesaver again.
