Dale is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | A true suspension under the seat. The air shock is an off the shelf mountain bike shock, so any correct mm shock will drop in. Stock is adjustable for both comression and rebound dampening making this GENUINE suspension, not a piece of rubber hiding vibrations. Spring it softly and it's like sitting on air. On the other side, it can handle drops of up to 36"!! (Youtube has plenty of examples).
Also, it's adjustable to fit most people. Something different about the M1 adjustability over, other adjustable chairs on the market, is that the seat width is also something you can change. That's nice. | | Weaknesses: | The caster wing. It is FAR too small. Both in width and depth. I'm a US size 9 and the skinniest ankles of anyone I know (and I roll in the SCI crowd, so that's saying A LOT!) and my feet and lower legs DO NOT fit between the sides of the wing OR onto the 9" footrest and barely fit onto the 10" footrest. My ankles touch both sides of the wing and needless to say ankle bone on metal isn't a good selling point. I wish I had been fitted properly, but I didn't notice the issue until it was too late (no sensation in feet to tell). I've tried the footrest in the full up and full down position and everywhere in between but it's the same thing: bone on metal. | | Comments: | Great chair, tons of carbon fiber and innovation. Expensive but a really good value for what you get (REAL suspension, CF side guards, CF seat pan, CF rigid backrest). It's the BEST suspension chair I've used and I've tried them all, to date. BUT, until they address the size of the caster wing it's a failed design, IMO. | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |
