Strengths:At the times every thing (which is about a week out of every month) you have the extra power to keep you rested.
Weaknesses:the weaknesses are that it needs to be adjust 1-2 a week, which can be done by me. then the other times i need help from someone else. so much for being self reliant.
Comments:Battery drains quickly after 6 months of use. after then you might have two hours of charge each day.Look at another self propelled wheelchair for the price you pay you have no service

Todd from Portsmouth, NH, USA submitted this review on August 14th 2015 at 02:03 PM. Todd is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Nice power when going up ramps, over carpet or travelling any distance. Fairly discreet and not noticeable since it is below the chair. Good battery life between charges. I use it daily and typically charge it every second or third night.
Weaknesses:MX-1. "Indoor mode" is squirrely and cuts off too easily to make it useful. It took time for me to get confident enough to use "outdoor mode" even indoors but you have to be carefully to not to crash into things. The brand new generation MX-2 sounds like they have eliminated the different modes. Adding a light to show how much charge is left on the battery would be helpful.
Comments:Not as simple to use as all the encouraging videos on their website but still a very usefully addition to vastly improve my mobility and independence. Had a glitch with the power cord but they paid shipping, fixed it and returned it without a question.

Terry from Bend, Oregon submitted this review on July 24th 2013 at 08:05 PM. Terry is an end user who has less than a month of experience with the product.
Strengths:Some nice power going forward
Weaknesses:Sporadic performance.
Comments:My unit would not always engage when force was applied to wheels. Would not engage when pulling an incline (probably because I could not get enough forward force). Does perform well on straight flat surfaces, so should be great for buildings, shopping or mall situations.
