| dotty from central sc submitted this review on May 7th 2012 at 02:25 PM. dotty is an end user who has over five years of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | i always used the roho airlite cushion and tried the nexus spirit - but was very happy i did - i have used this cushion for about 5 years - i do not have my balance and this cushion stabilizes me when i am transferring from bed/chair/car - and what i really love is that the velcro on bottom really does grip so cushion remains in place when transferring - i have purchased a second cushion only to have a "spare" but have not experienced any defect w/product and of course most importantly no pressure sore and i spend about 18 hours a day in chair | | Weaknesses: | to my knowledge - none - just wished cost of cushion could be reduced | | Comments: | please keep selling nexus spirit cushion86 | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |

| Austin from Los Angeles submitted this review on May 28th 2008 at 03:47 PM. Austin is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | Superior all-around cushion. I have tried several cushion types since my accident, and this cushion is hands-down, by far and away the BEST cushion there is out there. | | Weaknesses: | Ocassionally air does dissipate from the cushion, but ALL cushions do this. You folks that are changing brands, or whatever need to get a clue. ALL cushions periodically need to have air added to them...fact of life. | | Comments: | Air dissipates/changes over time when under pressure, friction/heat and load. The same thing happens to any kind of car, motorcycle, bicycle, etc. tire. Are you going to change the tires and or brand on your vehicle just because you periodically need to add air to them? That's one of the most ridiculous comments I have ever heard. Get real. This is an absolute non-issue made by obviously uninformed end users. AND any informed wheelchair tech, end user, caregiver, etc. will tell you that NO cushion and or wheelchair is designed to be sat in for several hours non-stop. If you think that after sitting in a chair for 8-16 hours straight regardless of the cushion type, that you're supposed to feel like you're floating on a cloud, then you're sadly mistaken. You need to check yourself and might even ask your doc to reevaluate your meds. Simply put, if you're going to be in a chair that long during the course of a day, then you need to take periodic breaks and get OUT of the chair completely and relieve the pressure on your spine. Laying on your back/stomach on a mat, couch, bed etc. for even a few minutes will help tremendously. It is completely unrealistic to think/believe that ANY cushion will provide acceptable comfort in this type of situation. | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |

| lessslie from denton tx usa submitted this review on May 8th 2007 at 08:20 PM. lessslie is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | lightweight
pressure distributed while still having some contour | | Weaknesses: | air occassionally leaks out and I can't tell until it hurts
foam is falling apart | | Comments: | I am a c7 sci and I work with glass, so the air issue seems like a work hazard perhaps, but even when it has no holes I sometimes realize my hips hurt and find no air in the cushion. Foam seems to be coming apart rather quickly. I do spend aLOT of time on this cushion every day, which seems from the other reviews to be bad with this cushion. It does provide more stability than roho's other all-air cushions. overall i probably won't get another one like it, but it hasn't been a bad cushion. Ah, ambivalence! | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |

| Anika from New Zealand submitted this review on July 22nd 2006 at 03:14 AM. Anika is an end user who has one to six months of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | It gives you the stability of a foam cushion and the pressure distribution that you need from an air cushion. | | Weaknesses: | None that I can think of. | | Comments: | I don't know why the other two people have such lousy experiences with this cushion as I have been using this type for well over a year. The Roho Nexus has improved greatly over the years and I wouldn't consider using a different one. | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |

| Meghan from Melbourne submitted this review on June 29th 2005 at 07:59 AM. Meghan is an end user who has six months to a year of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | None | | Weaknesses: | It breakdowns too quickly. | | Comments: | I am in my chair on average over 17 hours a day and this cushion is not made for long term seating. I have gone through 3 cushions in a year. I am changing brands. | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |

| Joseph A. from Daytona Beach, FL submitted this review on August 2nd 2003 at 08:21 PM. Joseph A. is an end user who has less than a month of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | Has a nice shape. | | Weaknesses: | Is not good for long term daily use. | | Comments: | I am very disappointed with my Nexus cushion. I spend an average of 16 hours a day in my wheelchair and I cannot use the Roho Nexus more than two days in a row due to the uncomfortable feeling in my bottom and the fear of skin breakdown. | | Durability? | | | Ease of use? | | | Meet expectations? | | | Overall Rating: | |
