Strengths:My son has had a Jay combi by sunrise medical wheelchair cushion for 12 yrs. I cannot believe that altho the cushion itself is still in good shape, It's the cover that amazes me. Years of constant washing & only now I'm replacing because the material by the zipper is finally starting to fray. This cover is worth every penny!
Weaknesses:
Comments:Love it--Wouldn't use anything else!

David from London, UK submitted this review on September 20th 2008 at 06:11 AM. David is an end user who has over five years of experience with the product.
Strengths:The moulded cushion works well in aligning your seating position. Durable, excellent cushion cover.
Weaknesses:Works well for me, as I am an incomplete tetra with sensation, and lower chance of pressure sores, but isn't good if you need a cushion than provides a high degree of pressure relief.
Also does not have pocket inserts that allow for wedges, if altering your sitting position.
Comments:A good, though fairly basic moulded, lightweight cushion.

Mel from Scotland, UK submitted this review on August 7th 2006 at 10:00 AM. Mel is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Good for maintaining posture and easier to transfer onto due to its solid mould. The cover is very strong and has washed again and again and shows no signs of wear. Fine for occasional user if you have good skin. Am L1 para and use this only for occasional change from my better quality one.
Weaknesses:Basic shape weakens very slightly with prolonged use (ie over a year) I now use this as a spare. I wouldn't recommend this to a full time user due to higher risk of pressure sores.
Comments:Expensive. The cover is worth buying on its own and using it with a cheaper cushion.

Robert from Destrehan, Louisiana submitted this review on July 10th 2005 at 09:50 AM. Robert is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:It gives a good seating base and the removeable, washable cover is very durable and easy to remove for washing. It is a comfortable relatively light cushion.
Weaknesses:None that I have really found.
Comments:I have used Jay Combi cushions for over 7 years and have been very satisfied withthem. I have 2 -- one with the wooden insert for added support and one without. Both are good choices.
