Dave from Sacramento, CA USA submitted this review on February 24th 2009 at 09:34 PM. Dave is an end user who has one to six months of experience with the product.
Strengths:Lightweight, very comfortable, size (18x18 inches) fits both of my Mobility Scooters and my chair at home, therefore I can get a lot of use out of it.
Inexpensive compared to its "Roho cousins". I lowered my Rascal 600F seat about 3 inches (electric motor does it) and put the cushion on it. SO MUCH BETTER. The more expensive cushions are probably better, but I am trying this out before I spend that kind of money. My wife has used this cushion and wants one for her sewing room, etc. About $80 is what I paid. Excellent price.
Weaknesses:I read where one end user had wires around it or something like that, then said he had problems. I listened to him and made darn sure I did not have any sharp objects in my pockets, etc.

I have not found a weakness yet. I want to emphasize that the more expensive cushions are probably better, but if an $80 cushion works, why pay $300 to $500?
Comments:It is very, very comfortable to sit on. If it works well, I may try buying the more expensive cushions.

I looked for a few months before I bought this cushion (filled with air) and I think it is the least expensive cushion on the market. I am going to buy the second one in a few days.

Below it asks "How Durable is the product?" I gave it a four instead of a five just because it is filled with air. It does not "look" particularly strong, but Roho has a good reputation for building solid products (so I have read and have been told).

Strengths:Cheap and protects better than any none air fill cushion
Weaknesses:leaks many times
Comments:I use it hard and with sharp thing such as strands of wire when stripping wires not a good thing.

I never had a better cushion to compare it to!

Rick from Schaghticoke, NY, USA submitted this review on June 19th 2005 at 06:56 PM. Rick is an end user who has less than a month of experience with the product.
Strengths:Comfortable to the extreme!
Ultra lightweight!
Excellent value for the money
As good as any standard ROHO, and alot less costly.
Easy to maintain.
Weaknesses:The cover!!!!! Why oh why do the cushion makers insist on fabric?
The Lycra cover is very thin, will wear out fast, looks crappy even when new. I removed this the minute I got the cushion and installed a beautiful, ultra soft piece of leather, which the cushion makers should offer as an option. My only complaint with this cushion!
Comments:After I made the beautiful, ultra soft black leather top panel to replace the lame Lycra junk fabric, This cushion was my Immediate favorite just behind my Hill-Rom Vicair cushion. Like the Hill-Rom, it's extremely lightweight weighning only a few ounces, and saves weight when I put my whole chair in the Jeep cushion and all (Colours Eclipse). Terriffic product like all ROHO products, and quarter the weight of a ROHO HP or LP. Now, if ROHO would quit offering lame fabric covers especially those overpriced tie-dye ones, etc, and offwer leather and lo-shear leather like polyurethane fabric, they'd have USABLE covers. The current line of covers are worse than useless.
