|Strengths:||From what I understand, this is the only tilt chair that can be taken apart and put into a car.|
The chair is sturdy and nice.
The chair provides excellent arm and head supports.
I love the color.
I love the material for the seat and armrests. It just wipes off.
My son is six feet tall and the chair really fits him well and looks like it's comfortable for him.
Gunnell made customizations to make the chair easier to lift into the car when broken down.
|Weaknesses:||I have had trouble with the calf pads and footrests. Both have broken off however the manufacturer worked with us and fixed them.|
The arm rests screw into place which isn't very good if you have to take the chair apart to fit into the car.
The IV pole for feeding doesn't fit well onto the chair and we can't use it.
It would be easier if they could use a colored dot or something to mark the spots where the pins go into the holes.
|Comments:||I really like this chair. It supports my son very well and he looks great in it. My son has progressive motor dysfunction and needs a lot of support. The arm rests are wide and really help keep his arms on them. The headrest is awesome. Very wide and provides full support for his head even though he has little support. We have had three wheelchairs for my son in his 16 years and this one is by far my favorite one.|
