Strengths:unique product on the market, allowing power option to folding chairs for people over 275 pounds. easy to attach and detach good speed and generally will last the day
Weaknesses:difficult to attach the battery cables if you have flexiblilty issues. the tiller has the plug in it and takes lots of stress when turning the tiller in tight spots. My motor has taken a dump after 1 year and the biggest weakness is that it has been DISCONTINUED by the company!
Comments:nothing else I have found will load into my Scion xB [using a 200 pd max lift power lift] without serious dismantling of a power chair

Strengths:I've had mine for about 6 years and wouldn't trade it for anything. It's easy to take it on a plane, is very durable and dependable, and with proper maintenance will probably last forever. I've replaced a main gear and the computer board in the tiller. The company has been very responsive every time I had a problem or question.
Weaknesses:Even after breaking it down, it was difficult for me to get it in the trunk. Complete, it weighs about 85 pounds. I bought a lift and didn't bother to break it down; a breeze. I now drive a rampvan and just drive it in. Have a little trouble with putting it on because the latch needs a little help.
Comments:I don't know how I'd do without mine. I've toured Washington DC with it and haven't even bothered to recharge it at night.

Strengths:I have been using this Roll Aid for 12 years now. It has been wonderful. I can transport in a car all by myself. I have a crane in the trunk to lift it out and it just rolls under the chair and latches. Range is quite good, I just got new batteries and did a 12 hour tour of Disneyland with my family and still had power to go.
Weaknesses:I have had some problem over the years. The motor burn out once and had to be replaced at $320. I had some minor problems with the steering, it binds if you try to turn it with one hand. The design of the steering is not very good. It wobbles around, this is, I am sure, so it can follow the terrain. The torque is a bit low when going up hills, it goes slow, or you have to tack back and forth. It also has no suspension so it is bumpy. It is heavy you will need some kind of crane to get it out of a trunk.
Comments:I am now concidering a Power Assist chair now, seems like this may be a better choice if you can still push a chair. Although, it is about 3 times the cost.
