Laurie from Longmeadow, MA submitted this review on March 31st 2009 at 10:58 AM. Laurie is a care giver who has over five years of experience with the product.
Strengths:lightweight
Looks "normal"
Weaknesses:Parts break easily. Handles are unbendable rubber, which is being bent. THose broke quickly. It's expensive, but really offers nothing more than being "a really big stroller". That's fine when you have a little guy, but as they get older it offers no support whatsoever. It is made for kids who have normal body control, not the disabled.
Comments:Served its' purpose, but for $800+ I expected it to be more durable. We have been using it falling apart for years now.

Renee from Rochester, NY, USA submitted this review on March 5th 2008 at 11:47 AM. Renee is a care giver who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Easy to use for small trips in and out of store or shopping malls. Travels on airplanes well. Adiquite for quick transportation. Great for indoor use in "small" spaces. Folds easily and fits easily into any car, bus or trolly. Usually easily found "second hand" on e-bay.
Weaknesses:Doesn't recline. Not good for out door use on unpaved surfaces. Not real comfortable for long trips. Has some plastic parts that break off easily. Foot plate can be easily misplaced/forgotten and the stroller is not very comfortable to ride in (for my son) without the foot plate.
Comments:It fills a need for a running around town easy access stroller. I like the stroller. I'd recomend it to someone who has an ambulatory child who needs to sit at times. It's obvioulsy not adiquite for someone who has muscle tone issues or problems sitting on their own. Also for parents of children with seizures or who may have a tendancy to become upset and flail - beware of them flipping the stroller.

Julie from Oxford UK submitted this review on October 21st 2006 at 05:49 PM. Julie is a care giver who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Lightweight..fits in 99% of car boots /trunks and looks 'normal'
We used one for my son between ages 3-7 and it went everywhere with us.
Weaknesses:It's a minor pain to take the foot rest off and you can only fit a rain cover if you buy the expensive sunshade (we didn't..got a bootlegged one off ebay instead!) I would have liked a reclining option.
Comments:Overall a GREAT stroller..lihgtweight, easy to steer and not medical looking. If it reclined it would be perfect! I say this with experience..we have had convaid cruisaire and a Invacare wheelchair over the years to compare with!)

Azhari from Malaysia submitted this review on October 23rd 2005 at 10:11 AM. Azhari is an end user who has one to six months of experience with the product.
Strengths:Lightweight almost 7kg
Relatively easy to fold and fit normal size sedan car
Weaknesses:Foot rest will have to be dismantled before any folding can be done.
The dual wheel setting make it looks a bit bulky
Seat depth of 10" is a bit limited for a growing child
No reclining feature
Limited accessories
Comments:This by far cheaper than a full fledged stroller by convaid. I would love to see maclaren to offer features offered by convaid cruiser. Maclaren major however offer lighter stroller with a lot cheaper price.

Karen from Wishaw, Scotland submitted this review on October 16th 2004 at 02:31 PM. Karen is a care giver who has less than a month of experience with the product.
Strengths:Easily steered. Easy to put up and good handle height.
Weaknesses:You have to buy and put up the sun shade to use the rain/wind plastic cover. They are time consuming to put on, and you have to take them off each time you fold down the stroller.
Don't hang even a light weight carrier bag on the handles as it tips! Doesn't have a lie back facility for a sleeping child.
Comments:I do love this stroller because my son has lots more room in it, and lots of legroom. It really meets his needs better, as he has global developmental delay. He's above average height, and will be in a stroller longer than normal kids. Therefore, this stroller is a Godsend.
