Strengths:My Amigo HD is almost 5 yr's old and one tough scooter. I have had no problems with it and I am on it 7days/16 hr's a day. The ride is smooth, its quick, and reliable. I have replaced batteries and tire's once. I put it into the shop today for the 1st time. I will never buy anything except Amigo.
Weaknesses:I have a lift on the outside of my suv. If it rains, even with the cover on it the scooter gets wet underneath. This causes it to stop working untill its dried out with a hair dryer. If the bottom could somehow be sealed so that water from the road couldn't short it out I wouldn't have it in the shop now. Its hard to use a outside lift and keep the scooter completely dry.
Comments:I've been using scooters since 1990. They have given me a somewhat normal life. I rely on my scooter like other people rely on their legs and feet. Without it I would be unable to care for myself or family. Its important to me that it takes me when and where I want to go. The only place I cant take it is on grass, soft dirt, or gravel roads. Gotta stay on a hard surface.
