Kenneth is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product. | | Strengths: | Light weight 104 lbs with batteries is good if you use a car lift like a Harmar AL 100. Speed and battery life are good and turning radius of about 30" gets you into tight spaces. Seat is adequate and locks rotation every 45 degrees. Controls allow one-hand use. Three wheel design permits extra leg room compared to 4 wheel. Non-inflatable tires are a plus. | | Weaknesses: | Ground clearance is about one inch. Hangs up on many thresholds and bumps. Repair parts are grossly overpriced-mine needed two bolts to fix broken seat lock and two dealers quoted me $400+ for a replacement seat. After twenty months of moderate use the transaxle required replacement - $460. (Not covered by insurance or Medicare.) Original batteries lasted less than 18 months. Now after 33 months of use a relay is stuck in reverse and I'm back to a wheel chair while shopping for a more durable scooter. | | Comments: | The scooter pictured and specs printed above are not the Invacare Lynx L3 but rather some completely different scooter.
